The 45th ISYA-2024 is tailored for early graduate students pursuing MSc or PhD degrees in Physics, Astronomy, or Astrophysics from African , Middle Eastern, and East European countries. However, we also welcome applications from final-year BSc students and researchers holding PhDs in other fields, provided they demonstrate a strong commitment to enrolling in a graduate program in Astronomy and Astrophysics.

To apply, please complete the school application form by submitting your academic information, motivation, and a 3-page CV before April 1st 2024. Additionally, applicants must arrange for two signed recommendation letters from academic referees (your supervisor, a professional scientist, or the Head of your institution/department). These letters should be sent directly to isya2024.algeria@gmail.com as part of the application. Important note: the referees should send the letters to the above mentioned email address and NOT the applicant.

It’s important to note that if accepted to participate in the 45th ISYA-2024, you are expected to commit to attending the entire duration of the School. Attendance for only a part of the program is not permitted. Please note that the school program is intensive and selected students should avoid scheduling commitments in their home universities during those dates.
